It's almost here, the day for which millions of fans have been waiting."Star Wars: Episode Three" hits theatres at the stroke of midnight Wednesday night. Moviegoers have been camped out all day down at Cinema Center near 82nd and Center.
The line grows steadily. Fans have been sitting outside the building since 7:30 Wednesday morning with their costumes and light sabers, hoping to be among the first to see "Star Wars: Episode Three."
They've been keeping busy since dawn, reading books and playing board games, all Stars Wars related. Even the conversation revolves around Star Wars.
These guys aren't waiting for tickets, they've already bought them. They're here to make sure they get a good seat.
"Revenge of the Sith" is the movie that's supposed to answer all of their deepest questions. Questions they've been asking since the 70s.
For them, Wednesday night is the end of an era, a bittersweet time in their lives, but one they say they'll remember forever.
